Knowsley Council Modernises the Employee Experience by Moving to Oracle Cloud HCM and Payroll

The council uses Oracle Cloud HCM to streamline HR and payroll processes, cut costs and standardise processes for its 6,500 employees and customers

Knowsley Council, provides services to more than 147,000 residents as well as employing over 2,500 staff.  Despite being one of the most impacted local authorities by government grant reductions, the council strives to be the best at providing services and making the best use of resources.

The move follows the council’s decision to implement Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM in the midst of the global pandemic in July 2020, providing the council with a fully integrated single cloud platform solution for its financial, procurement, human resources, and payroll processes.

The new modern HR system will provide efficiencies in HR and Payroll processes, improve decision-making, and by adopting Oracle Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) best practice, will make the system supportable and fit for purpose for the future.
